Marie - 06/09/2010 02:16:00 - Enjoyed reviewing sights that I had visited on a recent trip to the Holy Land. I will return to Ein Kerem, perhaps next year to further explore areas of interest. I am interested in Maria-Alphonse Ratisbonne in particular. Do you have a picture of his burial site that you can send to me (with the epitaph on the burial stone)? where is his brother, Theodore, buried?

A huge thank you for giving our family two unique tour experiences, while in Israel. They were fantastic.

You managed to craft these tours so that they catered to our family’s different ages and interests, making for unforgettable memories.

We were amazed by your knowledge and passion for Israel’s historic sites and its secrets. It was like having our own walking History Channel.
We would recommend you to anyone visiting Israel.

Jean Engelke - 07/07/2010 22:22:00 - Avraham is a very well prepared and personable guide. He quickly assessed our group and interests and went above and beyond answering our questions and adding additional information that was entertaining and enlightening. His demeanor is one of confidence and professionalism. I highly recommend him for tours in Israel and when I return will call on him again.

Ifat & Nancy - 27/04/2010 23:21:00 - Shai guided us to follow Jesus’ footsteps in his last 2 days in Jerusalem. Shai has an EXCELLENT historical and Architectural knowledge and could speak to every single stone in the city, and from each denomination’s perspective. He was flexible to accommodate all of our last minute requests and although we set the tour for 4 hours he stayed with us for 7 (!!), and we could have kept going with him for the whole week! He is a true professional with a sense of humor, highly recommended!
Shai Margalit: Shai is AMAZING!

Dr. Marcel Rozencweig, Princeton, New Je - 25/04/2010 22:02:00 - Last December (2009), my son and I had a fascinating tour in and around Jerusalem. Shai was our guide and we tremendously enjoyed his knowledge and his story teller skills. We had been to Jerusalem multiple times before and had not realized how much more there was to learn. Shai brought back to life centuries of history. A most pleasant and educational experience to be highly recommended.

Ramat Hanadiv treasures the beauty of the vast gardens that surround the family grave of Baron Edmond (Binyamin) de Rothschild, offers the beautiful view of the Carmel Beach, and hides other surprises like an ancient villa and a palace, cave and a fountain, and even more. The circular hiking route is pleasant, easy, and suitable for the whole family.

Somewhere between the Negev and Arava [Arabah] there is the hidden short, circular but particularly adventurous hiking route of Har Masor [Hebrew: saw mountain]. Add to it the deep gorge and water cisterns of one of the tributaries of a canyon that answers to the same name, and you would get a fascinating route that was designed especially for those who have a daring heart.

Shivta – an ancient picturesque Nabatean city in the north of the Negev. This historical place is one of the most impressive archeological sites in Israel, in the light of its size and its state of preservation, which both allow hours of wandering around in this desert town, without any dull moment. In front of its massive vastness, it is very understandable why the archeologists speak about a real ancient city.

Between Arad and the southern region of the Dead Sea, there is an enchanting route that begins in the desert highland, ascends to some impressive observation points and goes down to He'etekim Crag and Ein Bokek springs through the Bokek canyon. Nice and easy hiking, beautiful landscape viewing and bathing in a fountain are all included in this route.
From Tamrur Cliff to Ein Bokek
Many canyons drain the rainfall of the Negev on the way to Arava. One such canyon, between Paran and Tzukim, virtually in the middle of the Arava Road, offers you either a short route or a longer one in a real piece of desert land and also a chance to enjoy an impressive and stimulating ring-route with spectacular views of the Arava and Edom Mountains.
